One of the island’s best-kept secrets is the network of hidden pools scattered throughout the lush landscapes. These natural wonders offer a refreshing escape from the tropical heat, with crystal-clear waters that are perfect for a mid-hike dip. Imagine taking a plunge in a secluded pool, surrounded by nothing but the sounds of nature – pure bliss! There are a few of these mesmerizing  pools dotted around the coastline of St Barths and easily the most well known are the ones at the of Grand Fond bay in the far corner, it is a gorgeous 30 min hike to get them and a locals secret is to get there either early morning or late afternoon.

A must-visit spot for any hiking enthusiast is the Bay of Colombier. This secluded bay, accessible only by foot or boat, is a true gem of St Barths. The hike to Colombier Bay is a moderate trek that rewards you with stunning panoramic views of the turquoise waters and the surrounding islands. Once you reach the bay, you’ll be greeted by a pristine, crescent-shaped beach that’s perfect for a relaxing swim or a picnic. The bay is also a fantastic spot for snorkelling, where you can explore the vibrant marine life and colorful coral reefs.
